Stores We Don’t Recommend for Buying Pet Food

Why We Don’t Recommend These Brands
These brands are often affordable, making them attractive to new pet owners. However, lower prices often come with lower-quality ingredients.
To enhance the taste of these low-quality ingredients, these foods tend to contain large amounts of palatability enhancers (additives designed to make food more appealing).
Studies show that long-term consumption of foods high in artificial flavour enhancers can lead to dependency, picky eating, liver issues, diabetes, obesity, and other health problems in cats.
Conclusion
We encourage pet owners to choose the best food possible within their budget. A simple rule of thumb is that high-quality food is usually reflected in a reasonable price.
That being said, we are not selling the idea that "the more expensive, the better." Every pet and household is different, and our goal is to help you select the best food to meet your pet’s individual needs.
